LaShanda Taylor – MSN, APRN-C, AGPCNP-C
Biography
LaShanda is a certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse who specializes in Wound Care and Dermatology. She comes with over 27 years of experience in the health care field.
She started her career as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) in 1997. She later completed the Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program, and worked as a floor nurse, wound care nurse, supervisor, and unit manager. After completing the Registered Nurse (RN) program, she became a Director of Nursing. Several years later she worked as Regional Director of Clinical Services and Vice President of Clinical Operations. Fifteen years later she obtained her ARNP, and became certified as an AGNP-C.
LaShanda has been a member of NADONA for the last fifteen years. She currently holds a Bachelor of Science Nursing from Southern New Hampshire University, Certified Director of Nursing Administration (CDONA), Geriatric Diabetic Certified Nurse (GDCN), and Infection Preventionist (IP), and a Master of Science Nursing from Walden University.
One of her strengths is knowledge and expertise. A provider should possess extensive knowledge. experience and expertise in their respective field of medicine. Another strength is continued learning and improvement. A good provider should be committed to lifelong learning, keeping up with the latest medical advancements and improving their skills. LaShanda has a passion for being a provider and providing quality care to all patients. She has an excellent breadth of knowledge, and she has a proven history of improving facilities and facility outcomes.
